Family Budget Tracker respects your privacy. We collect only your email address and the transaction data you choose to enter or import.

Data Storage: Your data is securely stored in Google Firebase on Canadian servers, protected by strict security rules. No user can access another household's data.

AI Import (Google Gemini): When you upload screenshots or statements, they are sent directly from your device to Google's Gemini API for processing. We never store your images on our servers. Google's enterprise privacy terms guarantee that data sent via their API is not used to train their AI models. Images are processed strictly to extract your transaction details, temporarily logged by Google solely for standard security and abuse prevention, and are never stored permanently. We only save the final transaction text that you approve.

No card numbers: We never ask for or store credit card numbers, banking credentials, or passwords. Cards are identified by name only.

You can export all your data or permanently delete your account at any time via Profile โ†’ Export / Delete Account. For questions, contact us at [email protected].

This application is provided 'as-is' for personal family use, without warranties of any kind. By using this app, you agree to take responsibility for your own login security. The developer is not responsible for any data loss, application downtime, or financial decisions made based on the data displayed within the app. This is a private tool designed for personal household tracking only.

Acceptable Use & Termination: You agree not to abuse, reverse-engineer, or excessively spam the AI features or APIs of this service. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account and cancel any active subscriptions immediately, without refund, if we determine that you have violated these terms, abused the system, or engaged in fraudulent activity.

Privacy (PIPEDA): Your financial data is stored securely on Canadian servers in compliance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). We collect only the minimum information required to operate the app. You may request a full export or permanent deletion of your data at any time via Profile โ†’ Export / Delete Account.

Sets the default currency for manually entered transactions. Imported transactions always use their detected currency automatically.
